The Red haven variety of peaches has become popular amongst farmers compared to other varieties like freestone, clingstone,donut and yellow peaches due to its easy adaptability to the Kenyan climatic conditions and high disease resistance.Sold at Sh150 per kilo,the tree earns a farmer Sh15,000 per harvest making it the best variety to grow in Kenya.
