Christoper Malingu, an Animal Researcher at Agriner Agricultural Development Limited is advising farmers to incorporate magic protein in animal feeds to increase yields. Proteins are an essential nutrient required for the proper nutrition of all animals.

“The Magic Protein contains well balanced protein concentrates meant to enhance milk production in animals that have not realized their full milk potential” said Malingu.
According to Malingu, the Magic protein can double milk yields in high lactating dairy cows and is recommended for farmers who would like to earn more income besides consuming the milk.

According to Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Proteins are essential key ingredients of animal feeds. It is absolutely necessary for animal growth, body maintenance, the production of young and the output of such products as milk, eggs and wool.

Feeding regime per cow per day for producing 15 – 20 liters of milk per day
Molasses 1 kg
Urea 0.15 kg (150 grams)
Dairy meal 12 kg
Napier grass 6.5 kg
Rhodes grass hay (any hay) 4 kg

Total = 24.25 kg
Feeding regime per cow per day for producing 20 – 25 liters of milk per day
Molasses 1 kg
Urea 0.15 kg (150 grams)
Dairy meal 14 kg
Napier grass 7.2 kg
Rhodes grass hay (any hay) 4.4 kg

Total = 27.55 kg
Feeding regime per cow per day for producing 25 – 30 liters of milk per day
