The National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) has availed its products and services more conveniently through the e-Citizen platform.
This means that farmers and the general public can now pay for NCPB grain post-harvest, handling, and warehouse services. These include: weighing, drying, clearing and forwarding, warehouse receipt system, silos storage, general warehousing and storage, grain grading, aflatoxin testing, pest control, and fumigation and bagging.
Products that can be purchased from the state corporative include farm inputs, food items, farm implements, and agrochemicals.
Farmers and customers looking to purchase from NCPB can now pay at their convenience through the Government’s e-Citizen Paybill number 222222.
To make payment to NCPB customers are advised to use the following steps:
- Select Lipa na Mpesa
- Select Paybill
- Enter 222222 as the business number
- Enter the Acount number as per depot, e.g. 5HOS, followed by your name
- Enter amount to pay
According to the National Cereals and Produce Board, all other money payment platforms have been discontinued.
