French Tech Center launches competition for digital agriculture solutions

Through the innovative competition, #HackTonFutur, La French Tech Nairobi has launched its Kenyan Digital Agriculture edition dubbed Tuhack Tuomoke! for Kenyan high school students.
The competition seeks to award the most innovative technological solution to improve Kenya’s agriculture.
The technology should be integrated to support farmers and offer digital tools, services, or platforms that could aid crop monitoring, weather prediction, or market connectivity.

For your submission to be considered you will need to be a team of four students and the project should be submitted as a PowerPoint presentation of eight maximum slides.
No prototype will be required but having one would be an advantage.
The five shortlisted teams will work with seasoned entrepreneurs to fine-tune their projects and prepare for the final pitching session to a professional jury on November 15th.
This will enable participants to:
- Formulate a market problem
- Start building a network
- Sharpen their analytical and synthesizing skills
- Improve their oratory and presentation skills

The project should be submitted before October, 8th 2023 midnight EAT.
